Laboratory
Seagull has a testing laboratory fully capable of testing product to obtain an IAPMO certification.
Seagull has significant experience in the certification of products and providing testing and support for international products. This is a significant advantage in the development of finished goods. The IAPMO certification process can be completed within the Seagull facility. This improves the time to obtain IAPMO certification and the use of the cUPC logo. Seagull was certified to be an IAPMO testing laboratory in 2006. In 2009, Seagull became authorized by IAPMO to perform AB1953 testing. In the same year, the EPA certified Seagull to perform energy efficiency testing.
The 800 square meter laboratory is staffed with experienced engineers and technicians. The laboratory is well equipped to perform the mechanical testing required to develop finished goods, including high temperature and pressure testing, life cycle testing, corrosion testing, flow testing, along with other tests required to obtain confidence in the quality of the finished product. Seagull continuously works to improve the capability of the laboratory and laboratory management systems. To enhance the management, technical capability and accuracy of test results, Seagull brought in the CNAS-CL01: 2006 (ISO/IEC17025: 2005) "Testing and Calibration Laboratory Accreditation Standards" management system. In 2011, Seagull obtained the National Laboratory Accreditation.
